Seahawks Vet Launches Spokane Firm

Spokane-based Athlete Real Estate Capital (ARC) is partnering with professional athletes to invest in Spokane’s multifamily real estate market, aiming to help players build long-term wealth. The company, co-founded by Ryan Towner, Dallas Lightner, and former Seattle Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander, is targeting a growing need among athletes for financial security after retirement. Towner and Lightner, co-owners of LT Real Estate LLC and LT Property Management LLC, partnered with Alexander to establish ARC at the beginning of 2026. “We’re just really excited, and it’s a great opportunity,” says Towner. “There’s definitely a need in the athlete world, and a lot of stats thrown out there that show the majority of NFL players go broke within a few years of retirement, so we feel that we have the investment platform to help change that.”

ARC’s Investment Strategy

ARC partners with current and retired professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, and MLB to purchase multifamily properties in Spokane County. The company splits both the investment and revenue with the athletes, minimizing risks for all parties involved. “We have skin in the game, so we’re fully committed to the deals,” says Towner. Alexander, a long-time real estate investor, joined ARC to guide younger athletes in securing long-term wealth and stability, which can be a challenge for newer athletes. “My role is to bring guys in and have this great relationship with everybody, from the financial planner to our team, to our staff and the players,” says Alexander. “I’m just teaching them how to become true CEOs of their own life and of their own wealth. It’s almost like being a chief relationship officer.”

Alexander first met Towner while signing autographs at a Seahawks training camp at Eastern Washington University when Towner was 12 years old. The two remained in touch throughout Towner’s high school, college, and professional career. They reconvened prior to 2026, and together with Lightner, decided to spin up ARC for pro athletes.

ARC’s First Deal and Future Plans

ARC’s first multifamily complex investment, a 30-unit apartment complex at 2513 N. Regal, was completed in April 2026. The company is currently working on deals with 15 more athletes and expects over 100 athletes to partner with the group in the near future. “We know the area, so that for us is a competitive advantage in this space,” says Lightner. The amount an athlete invests determines their monthly earnings, with ARC usually investing the most capital into each deal. LT Property Management manages the properties on behalf of ARC and the athlete.

ARC, along with an athlete partner, completed its first multifamily purchase of a newly-constructed, 30-unit apartment complex at 2513 N. Regal in April 2026. River City Apartments, located north of the Spokane River and about a mile southeast of Gonzaga Preparatory School, was purchased by 2513 N Regal Apartments LLC, a company owned by both ARC and the athlete, for $5.95 million. Towner and Lightner decline to disclose their partner athlete in the sale or what percentage of the complex the athlete owns. They also decline to disclose the company’s current revenue. ARC’s second multifamily investment is currently pending, Towner adds.
